The face painting thing – had a mommy light bulb go off about five years ago and created my own face painting trousseau with dollar store paint brushes and face paints and a couple of eyeliner pencils. Put everything in my old Caboodles case, with attached mirror. Now I get to avoid all the other face painting because I can promise one at home on a day they can enjoy it. Another tip, press a baby wipe on the face painting and give it a little jiggle. The paint almost comes off exactly in the design and your child can hang it when it dries.

Fortunately, Q-ster still thinks face painting is icky. So much that we made a Darth Maul mask instead of makeup for Halloween. Yay! Less cleanup.

And for face painting, totally agree. Why is it at every freakin’ kids event? My kids don’t even get it either. (thank god)

Didn't you just want to fall over at the end of the day?

I had my husband take our daughter to dance so I could stay home and cough. Much more relaxing.

The thing about face painting is that I always insist they wash it off before bedtime and that's such a bummer.

Lots of people looking for naked mommies at The Full Mommy. Ha, if they really saw us (at least me) naked, they would run!
