I truly am grateful for
- A big work project
- Two children celebrating birthdays
- The opportunity to fix my child’s crooked jaw and teeth
- A holiday featuring yummy food, fun traditions, and one of my favorite hymns
- Family coming to visit
- Days off from school
- Stunningly amazingly beautifully gorgeous weather
I would be EVER SO MORE grateful if all this were not happening simultaneously.

It all manages to hit at the same time, doesn’t it.
Two birthdays – hooray!
I’m with you. At Wal-Mart on my lunch break (buying groceries for dinner tonight and tomorrow; egg-dyeing supplies; Jack’s birthday present, etc. etc.), the cashier asked if I had big Easter plans, and then responded to my list with “You don’t sound so excited.”
I AM excited. And a little frantic.
Happy Easter, and work project, and birthdays, and lovely favorite hymns. Etc. Etc.
Eek!
I read the list and thought, what a great list this is, then I saw it all happening together and I said doh! Hope it all goes smoothly…
Hoping the pieces are shifting in such a away that allows you to enjoy everything.
Yes, the weather is such a distraction, isn’t it? I was digging in the garden enjoying the sunshine, but then I remembered: 13 people coming to dinner tomorrow! shop! cook! clean the house! Wahhhh, I wanna be outside!! (shouldn’t be blogging either, LOL)
